AZAD Palace Okene – The Most Beautiful House in West Africa

The Azad Palace which is situated in Okene, Kogi state have been described as the most beautiful house in West Africa, and arguably the most magnificent Palace in the whole of Africa.

The Azad Palace belongs to the most revered monarch of Ebira land, His Royal Majesty Alhaji Dr Abdul Rahman Ado Ibrahim, who assumed office on June 1997 as the Ohinoyi of Ebiraland.

The Ohinoyi Of Ebiraland, in honor of his beloved deceased son, named his palace after him.

Azad Palace in Okene, Kogi state was named after the King’s eldest son who died many years ago.
