Aminu Femi Jamiu | Biography, Books, and Early Life

Aminu Femi Jamiu is a biochemist, multiple award winning Nigerian poet, author, teacher, world peace ambassador, publisher and an editor.

He is the first Kogi state indigene to appear on the Guinness World Records.

He hails from IJumu local government area of Kogi.

He features in the anthology of Global Poets, that compromises 2000 Poets from around the world.

His book Hyperpoem holds the world record for the largest number of authors for a single book.

He was born into a polygamous family by late Mr. Aminu Mohammed (M.Gana) and Mrs. Aminu Fehintola Iyabo on 26th October 1994, in Ayegunle Gbede, Ijumu L.G.A. Kogi State, Nigeria.

Aminu Femi Jamiu is an internationally recognized poet for his brilliant works and in building world peace, which portrays him as a monumental icon of modern times on a planetary level.

He had published two books of poetry, Poetry Pearls (A collection of 111 poems) in 2022, and Cosmic Voice (An International Anthology of Contemporary Global Poets) in April 2023, in which 150 internationally recognized eminent poets across 40 countries worldwide participated.

Femi has received not less than 40 national and international awards, certificates and honors across the world for his contribution to world literature.

He has been featured as one of the World’s Contemporary poet by Shikdar Mohammed Kibriah, Bangladesh.

As a student, Femi graduated as a science prefect and the best student in Titcombe College Egbe, 2010/2011 set, he had represented the Students Union President in Gbede land (communities comprises of 10 villages), Ijumu L.G.A. in 2017, and also in Kogi state Polytechnic, Lokoja as Department President (Science Laboratory and Technology) 2018.

Through Femi’s poetry, there are various literary tapestries that are deeply emotional and highly philosophical.

He is the Founder and President of “Home of Global Writers”, an international online poetry platform.

His poem “Womanhood” was translated into 10 different languages by CIESART Spain and some appeared in many reputable international blog sites.

The President of “World Literary Forum For Peace and Human Rights” in Bhutan, H.E. Amb. Dr. Santhos Kumar, conferred him the title “International Ambassador of Peace”, April 2021.

And On 21st December 2021, Poet Femi was conferred with the honor “Icon Of Peace 2021” by the Global President/ Night of Merit of the Italian Republic for Poetry, H.E. Cav. Silvano Bortolazzi.

Femi’s Poem, “Pages of Time” was featured in Daily Global Nation (An International Independent Newspaper), Dhaka, Bangladesh On 19 September, 2023.

And on the 14th October 2023, Poet Femi was made an International Peace Ambassador of Daily Global Nation (International Independent Newspaper) by Md Mahbubur Rahman Ph.D, the Editor and publisher of Daily Global Nation.

Some of his works are still under publication, he’s on a project to publish World Poets Anthology Title “The Poetic Canvas”, to feature Poets across the world.

Femi is an avid reader, whose mission is “living to make the world a better place”.
